La Comisión del Ministerio fué establecido en el pasado Sínodo IX de la Diócesis del pasado mes de Septiembre del año en curso.
La función de la Comisión es coordinar juntamente con el Obispo, el Comité Permanente y la Junta de Capellanes Examinadores y facilitar los procesos canónicos para los Aspirantes, Candidatos y Diáconos en busca de las Órdenes Sagradas. La Comisión está integrada por dos Clérigos y tres Laicos.
El Revdo. Diácono Mario Daniel Monje Aquino ha sido invitado para coordinar juntamente con el demás Clero un retiro vocacional para el descubrimiento de vocaciones a las Órdenes Sagradas.
El Retiro Vocacional se llevará a cabo Dios mediante los días 15 y 16 de noviembre del año en curso, invitando a todas las personas posibles en la Diócesis.
Las personas que resulten clasificadas se les iniciará sus fichas y se seguirá el proceso canónico propio. Aquí la Comisión del Ministerio tiene la oportunidad de entrevistar, exhortar, estimular y hacer las recomendaciones pertinentes en cada uno de los casos de personas con aptitud vocacional.
El programa de instrucción teológica iniciará Dios mediante en el mes de Enero de 1998, siguiendo el pensum de estudios teológicos del Obispo Boynton de 1993, estando flexible a recibir los otros programas de las distintas diócesis anglicanas de América.
El Clero de la Diócesis participará como maestros de clase siguiendo como guía el pensum de 1993, adaptando en lo posible a las necesidades de la región en los enfasis misioneros, pastorales y evangelísticos.
Los directores del programa de estudios teológicos son: el Obispo diocesano y el Deán Revdo. Pbro. Santos García Tista.
El programa de estudios teológicos tiene también como objetivo ser un programa de educación continua para el Clero, a través de la lectura y la investigación en los cursos. Servirá para profundizar sus conocimientos teológicos, bíblicos, pastorales y misioneros.
¿Cómo puede Ud. colaborar? Primeramente elevando oraciones al Señor de la mies, según su exhortación en San Lucas 10.2 — apoyando y estimulando a los aspirantes al ministerio, apoyando con sus ofrendas económicas al programa de estudios teológicos para la adquisición de libros y demás literatura necesaria.
The Commission on Ministry was established at the last Synod (IX) of the Diocese in September of the current year.
The function of the Commission is to coordinate with the Bishop, the Standing Committee and the Board of Examining Chaplains and to facilitate the canonical processes for Aspirants, Candidates and Deacons in their pursuit of Holy Orders. The Commission is comprised of two clergy and three laymen.
The Rev. Deacon Mario Daniel Monje Aquino has been invited to organize a vocational retreat with the remaining clergy to find further interest in vocations with Holy Orders.
The Vocational Retreat will be held with God’s help November 15 and 16 of the current year, with invitations to all possible interested people of the Diocese.
Any identified interested person will begin a file and will follow the appropriate canonical process. Here the Commission on Ministry has the opportunity to interview, exhort, encourage and make pertinent recommendations for each person with a vocational aptitude.
The theological instruction program will start by the grace of God in January 1988, following the 1993 theological study program of Bishop Boynton, but remaining flexible so as to include other programs from the various Anglican dioceses of America.
The Clergy of the Diocese will participate as classroom teachers, following the 1993 program as guide, making possible adaptations according to regional needs for missionary, pastoral and evangelical emphasis.
The directors of the theological study program are the Bishop Ordinary and the Very Rev. Dean Santos García Tista.
The theological study program includes the objective to serve also as a program of continued education for the Clergy, through lectures and course study. It will serve to deepen their knowledge of theology, Bible, pastoral service and missionary work.
How can you help? Primarily by lifting up your prayers to the Lord of the harvest, according to the exhortation in Saint Luke 10.2 — helping and encouraging aspirants to the ministry, aiding with your monetary offerings to the theological study program towards the acquisition of books and other needed materials.
Omnipotente Dios, nuestro Padre Celestial, que por la preciosa sangre de tu amado Hijo has adquirido para tí una Iglesia Universal; mírala con misericordia, y de tal manera dirige y gobierna las mentes de tus siervos, los Obispos y Pastores de tu rebaño, para que sobree ninguno impongan sus manos inconsideradamente; sinoque fiel y sabiamente escojan a personas aptas para servir en el sagrado Ministerio de tu Iglesia. Y a los que así fueren ordenados para algún oficio sagrado, concédeles tu gracia y bendición celestial; para que tanto con su vida como con su doctrina manifiesten tu gloria, y apresuren la salvación de toda la humanidad; por Jesucristo nuestro Señor. Amén.
Almighty God, our heavenly Father, who hast purchased to thyself an universal Church by the precious blood of thy dear Son; Mercifully look upon the same, and at this time so guide and govern the minds of thy servants the Bishops and Pastors of thy flock, that they may lay hands suddenly on no man, but faithfully and wisely make choice of fit persons, to serve in the sacred Ministry of thy Church. And to those who shall be ordained to any holy function, give thy grace and heavenly benediction; that both by their life and doctrine they may show forth thy glory, and set forward the salvation of all men; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
